Robuskin® for laser printing at “Stable Whispers”

Gelsenkirchen, 11/04/2013. Punctually at 10:55 at the harness racing track GelsenTrabPark, it was time to kick off the first round of the “Stable Whispers”. Papier Union (www.papierunion.de) invited guests to a fast-paced industry event, and following expert presentations by top-class specialists, the exclusive Papier Union racing day started.

MDV (www.mdv-group.com), the collaboration partner for synthetic papers for dry toner laser printing, impressed the crowds with a notable talk on the trends in laser printing and the possibilities that Robuskin® thereby opens up to its users. By careful selection of films like XTP – a proprietary development by MDV – or PET, water resistant, tear resistant and robust digital prints can be created. The advantages are clear to see: you can save additional time and costs of laminating and even the smallest runs or customised data are no longer a problem.

At the MDV info stand one subsequently received the matching samples and example applications, as well as expert advice from the CAPA agency (www.capa-international.de), which acts on MDV’s behalf in central and south-east Germany. The event was rounded off by the races that took place in the late afternoon, which all Papier Union partner companies sponsored. The MDV race, a harness race for 4- to 14-year -old horses over 2000 m, was won by the jockey Kerstin Stegemann on Queiro de Nancras. In conclusion, in the late evening, organisers and participants agreed that the first “Stable Whispers” in the Ruhr valley was a successful.
